    This year, Berlin holds the title "European Volunteering Capital 2021" (EVC). With this title, the European Volunteering Centre in Brussels honors what Berlin, as a state and municipality, does in the field of volunteering. The campaign year starts with a digital opening ceremony and live broadcast on February 18, 2021, at 6:00 pm from the City Hall. The entire english press release is coming soon

    Berlin is European Volunteering Capital in 2021. With this title, the Brussels-based European Volunteer Centre (CEV) honors what Berlin, as a state and municipality, does in the field of volunteering. As part of the closing ceremony of the current Volunteer Capital Padua (Italy), the title will be officially handed over to Berlin on December 5, 2020, on International Volunteer Day.
